Resort

The facilities of the resort include a restaurant, a swimming pool and spa, a swim-up pool bar, conference rooms, function rooms, a cinema, kids' games room and kids' play room.

Fitzroy Island Resort is a licensed premises therefore BYO alcohol is not permitted onto the island in any form. Any alcohol brought onto the island will be held by the Resort until day of departure.

Dive Shop

The Dive Shop has all you need to explore the beautiful coral reefs surrounding the island. From beginner dives, to night dives, for the novice to the experienced, the area is full of the wonders the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. The shop also hires out snorkel gear, stinger suits, kayaks with view ports and glass bottom boat tours.

Campground

The Council Campground is located, next to the beach, only 5 minutes stroll from the Jetty and it is managed by the Fitzroy Island Resort staff. It has approximately 28 tent sites, a very modern and stylish Ablutions Block, BBQs and pergola cover for eating areas. Bookings can be made through the Resort Reception on (07) 4044 6700.

Day Visitors

Day Visitors to the island are welcome and well catered for by Foxy's Bar and Cafe, by the Pacific Islands Trading Store, by the Dive and Activities Centre and all the facilities of the adjacent National Park, including bush walks to the Lighthouse, the Summit, to the Secret Garden and to Nudey Beach.

Foxy's Bar and Cafe

A large Pacific Islands bar with a 70s structural theming, situated right on the beach front, about 100 metres from the resort buildings, south of the main creek (on the way to Nudey Beach). Foxy's has an excellent casual cafe style food menu and it also has one of the best sound systems in Cairns. Live entertainment most weekends. Foxy's also has a committee meeting room for sporting clubs or small functions.

Pacific Islands Trading Store

Adjacent to Foxy's, PITS provides packaged food, drinks and most requirements for visitors to the island, be they guests staying at the Resort, Camp Grounds, Day Visitors or individual visiting Boaties/Yachties.

Welcome Bay Room

Overlooking the magnificent views of the Welcome Bay, this facility is perfect for functions, weddings and conferences. A special location for the special event.
