On registration, Fitzroy Island Resort collates the information you provide for internal statistical reporting and for marketing purposes. We will also use your information to ensure that we make this and all future stays as comfortable and memorable as possible. If at any time you would like us to remove your details from our email list, please contact us via our contact form.

Credit Card Surcharge

All bookings paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Union Pay will incur a 1.5% surcharge. If you choose to settle your account via EFTPOS or cash, no surcharge will apply.

Day Trips

We welcome everyone who would love to see the beautiful Fitzroy Island to join us even if for only a day trip. We do remind all day trip guests that the Resort pool, pool bar, cinema and as well as the lobby are for the convenience of our overnight guests only. Foxy’s Bar has coin operated lockers as well as ample seating to sit back and enjoy the day with a beverage or meal of choice.

Campgrounds

Fitzroy Island Resort manages the campgrounds on behalf of the Cairns Regional Council. Each tent can only be a maximum of 3 meters x 3 meters with 2 adults and 2 children per site. Consumption of alcohol, the use of generators and the lighting of fires is not permitted in the campgrounds. We ask that all noise ceases at 10 pm each night.

Under 18’s and BYO alcohol

Due to liquor licensing conditions, minors (17 and under) are not permitted to travel or stay at Fitzroy Island Resort without a parent or legal guardian. Minors must be accompanied at all times by a parent/legal guardian while dining at Foxy’s bar. Fitzroy Island Resort is a fully licensed premises; you cannot bring your own alcohol onto the island either via a scheduled transfer or a private vessel. We reserve the right to inspect all eskies brought onto the island.

Any alcohol confiscated will be stored in a secure location and returned on departure. Alcohol can be purchased from Foxy’s Bar and taken back to guest rooms for consumption or for consumption in resort venues. Consumption of alcohol in public and on the beach is not permitted.
