Fitzroy Island offers daily family-friendly activities to entertain and engage children aged 5+ years and give parents some well-deserved time out knowing their little ones are in safe hands.
The Fitzroy Island Kids Club is a place to make new friends, create cherished memories and have a whole lot of fun! Our Tours & Activities team are dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment with a range of educational activities that will keep the kids entertained including craft sessions, mad science experiments and so much more.
Activities are subject to seasonal change. Please note some activities are for Resort Guests only.
Junior Marine Biologist Program
Available for Day Trip & Resort Guests
Your kids will delve in to the wonders of the underwater world and learn about our beautiful oceans and marine life through a series of fun ‘hands on’ activities with our resident Marine Biologist.
- Duration: Dry session 2.5 hrs, wet session 3 hrs
- Ages: 5+ years

Junior Activities

This jam-packed program will keep the kids entertained with beach activities, arts & craft, and fish feeding!

Let your kids creativity flow with structured art & craft sessions with mess and fun!

Fish Feeding on the Jetty
Resort Guests only
Perfect activity for the whole family! Twice daily the activities team offer fish feeding off the Fitzroy Island jetty where you have the chance to encounter Dart Fish, Parrot Fish and Coral Trout to name a few.
- When: Daily at 11:30am & 2:30pm
- Ages: All ages welcome

Adult supervision required.
DIY Workshops
Resort Guests only
Learn a new skill with our D.I.Y workshops including tie dye, jewellery making and tote bag painting. Workshops include your creation to take home.
- Duration: 30-60 minutes
- Ages: Suitable for ages 7+.
- Cost: From $15 per Child
Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an Adult.
Kids Soft Play Area

Our brand new soft play area is the perfect place for kids to climb, crawl, slide, jump and burn off their energy in a safe environment.
Both Kids and Adults will love the beautiful mural inspired by the wildlife and incredible landscapes of Fitzroy Island, designed by our talented staff.

Movie Screenings

Enjoy a relaxing family friendly movie at Foxy’s after a busy day exploring Fitzroy Island.
