A 45 minute Fitzroy Flyer ride will get you from Cairns to Fitzroy Island. Pre-booking of your transfers to the island is essential and we recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred time.

Fitzroy Flyer Maintenance: Please be advised that the Fitzroy Flyer will be undergoing maintenance on the 15th & 16th of October. Due to this, the midday runs – 11 AM (CNS-FI) and 12:15 PM (FI-CNS) – will not be operating.

Please note: The 11am and 12:15pm services do not run Monday to Thursday during February & March.
