PADI Rescue Diver Course

Though we don’t expect to experience problems, knowing and understanding what to do if any issues do occur will give you the confidence to assist you buddy before they become “bigger problems.”

Our PADI Rescue Diver course conducted through the Fitzroy Island Sports Hub is a 2-day course that takes you through a step-by-step process on what do to prevent and aid in diving emergencies. You will develop your knowledge and skills to better manage diving incidents that may occur on dives starting with self-rescue techniques and expanding through to decompression and pressure related injuries. You will become a better diver and better buddy by knowing and understanding the importance of diver safety through risk minimisation and management.

Choose to stay on the island with our range of accommodation options, or travel from Cairns each day aboard the Fitzroy Flyer.
